Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools Community Education Services

In this camp, participants will learn about famous artists and the time period in which they lived and created. As we learn about these different time periods, the artists associated with them, and their different styles of art, students will create works in the same style as famous artists. The camp will explore art from Medieval Times through present day and participants will create using oil, acrylic, watercolors, and many other materials.

Three-dimensional art does not always have to occupy physical space. Participants in this camp will learn how to create the illusion of dimension in drawing and paintings as they fine tune their skills as an artist. We will create artworks on paper as well as on figurative sculptures that will be viewable from all angles.
