This includes the understanding of the process of a production and the realization that EVERY part, no matter how big or small, is essential to putting on the best performance possible!REGISTRATION AND FEESIf cast in the show, the Community Education PL-S fee is $85.00 which includes royalty fees, directors fees, scripts, and a t-shirt for each student. Fees can be paid once the cast list is posted, between 10/13 and 10/26. The fees include the cost to put on the production including sets, directors, scripts, cast party, etc. We support all students at the Prior Lake Savage Middle Schools. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses all-American girl Kim McAfee for a very public farewell. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score, plenty of great parts for kids, and a hilarious script, this show has a wide range of singing parts (solos, small groups, whole cast) and fun ensemble roles. Casting will be based on the actor’s age/grade, interests, and audition. TIME COMMITMENTWe are dedicated to providing a quality education and artistic experience to as many students as possible. Since we all have many time obligations and family commitments we are striving to give you detailed information on rehearsal schedules so you can make informed choices for you students and your family. We will do our best to honor the schedule we present by making as few or no changes to the schedule and by always starting and stopping on time. Full schedules and updates will be available through Schoology. COSTUMESThe directors, as much as possible, will provide costumes. We will be asking students and parents to assist when necessary. Individual students will be asked to provide undergarments and shoes. We will send out information after rehearsals begin, outlining the specific items needed for each student. Information regarding hair and make-up will be sent home closer to showtime.Please provide T-Shirt size when registering. TECH CREWTech Crew registration will open Monday, October 16th and will close 10/31. The fee to participate in Tech Crew will be $55. Welcome to Kids’ Company program. Kids’ Company offers care at each elementary school before and after school and on most non-school days. Care is available from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and from school release until 6 p.m.
The Wave is a summer and an after-school program for students in sixth through eighth grade at Hidden Oaks and Twin Oaks Middle Schools.
