Dive into the world of sharks with an exciting Shark Week Science Class designed for kids ages 4-8! Through hands-on activities, children will discover why sharks float by conducting a buoyancy experiment, create gooey shark oobleck and sparkly ocean slime, and make their own shark teeth while learning about different types. Along the way, they’ll enjoy crafting festive shark-themed snacks like “under the sea crackers” and “ocean punch,” blending science, creativity, and fun into an unforgettable underwater adventure!
Hello! I’m Sarah Lund, an early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience. My journey in education has been guided by a deep passion for E-Stem learning and the wonders of nature, particularly in the realm of preschool education.
I’ve had the privilege of nurturing young minds and fostering a love for exploration and discovery in countless children throughout my career. Witnessing their curiosity ignite as they delve into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics alongside the beauty of the natural world is truly fulfilling.
Outside of the classroom, I live in Prior Lake with my husband and three wonderful children. It’s a joy to call this place home.
