Kids’ Company offers quality child care options before and after school, full-day programming on most non-school days, and extended care on early release afternoons. Kids’ Company is located in all elementary buildings, serving K-5 students.
Elementary Choir will be held before school on designated days at each Elementary School.
The mission of the middle school musical is to introduce students in the cast and crew to theatre. This includes the understanding of the process of a production and the realization that EVERY part, no matter how big or small, is essential to putting on the best performance possible!
TECH CREW REGISTRATION AND FEES
Auditions are not required for Tech Crew. Registration is limited. If working on Tech Crew (a non-performing role), the registration fee includes set supplies, royalty fees, advisor fees and a t-shirt for each student. No student will be prevented from participating because of financial needs. Scholarships are available so please contact Community Education at 952-226-0310 if you are in need of assistance.
PRODUCTION
Annie Jr. is presented through special arrangements with Music Theatre International. All authorized performance materials are also supplied by Music Theatre International.
TECH ROLES AND RESPONSBILITIES
There are many opportunities as part of the tech crew: props and painting, set building and painting, lights, sound, make-up, assist with costumes, etc. however, not every tech crew member will be needed backstage during the show. Those that are not on running crew during the actual show will be assisting actors and directors with make-up, costumes and ushering. It really does take all of us to make the show run smoothly! Once you have registered online you will be given a link to a google document to list your top three preferences for tech crew.
TIME COMMITMENT
We are dedicated to providing a quality education and artistic experience to as many students as possible. Since we all have many time obligations and family commitments we are striving to give you detailed information on tech crew dates so you can make informed choices for your students and your family. We will do our best to honor the schedule we present by making as few or no changes to the schedule and by always starting and stopping on time.
IMPORTANT DATES
Tech Crew schedule will vary, and registered students will be provided with more information at rehearsals and through Schoology.
