Lakers Preschool Child Care and the Laker 3s Program are branches of Kids’ Company, offering care for our youngest learners.
Kids’ Company offers quality child care options before and after school, full-day programming on most non-school days, and extended care on early release afternoons. Kids’ Company is located in all elementary buildings, serving K-5 students.
Elementary Choir will be held before school on designated days at each Elementary School.
Don’t be intimidated by phyllo pastry! In this class, we’ll explore a range of delicious appetizers, main courses, and desserts using this versatile dough. First, we’ll whip up Phyllo Kisses, a 5-minute appetizer, followed by flaky feta cheese triangles that can be prepped ahead and frozen until baking time. For the main dish, we’ll fill crisp phyllo with chicken, vegetables, and a savory cheese sauce. And, of course, we’ll finish with Baklava, the beloved dessert loaded with nuts and drenched in sweet honey syrup.
Instructor Laurel Severson graduated from the U of M in Home Economics and Education.She worked in businesses focusing on food; currently teaching many years in Community Education.She lived in London, the Philippines and travels extensively.Laurel is an avid cookbook collector who delights in sharing recipes and cooking tips.
