Drivers Education - Classroom Part 2 of 2 (Skills)
Prerequisite: Permit Course (Part 1 of 2)Students age 14.5 can start Driver’s Education. After Classroom Part 1 & 2 students age 15+ can test for permit at testing station. With permit, students schedule 6 hours Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) lessons (3 separate 2-hour lessons). A+ Driving School (our classroom provider) and other Drivers Education providers offer BTW training which is not a program of ISD719 (Community Education). Students age 16+ can test for license at testing station.Required Supervised Driving Log: Option 1) Student logs 50 hours/3,000 minutes (of which 15 hours/900 minutes are night driving) on supervised driving log between obtaining permit and license. Option 2) Parent/Guardian (only) attends Point of Impact class, student logs 40 hours/2,400 minutes (of which15 hours/900 minutes are night driving) on supervised driving log between obtaining permit and license.

Welcome to Kids’ Company. Kids’ Company offers care at each elementary school before and after school and on most non-school days. Care is available from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and from school release until 6 p.m.
The Wave is a summer and an after-school program for students in sixth through eighth grade at Hidden Oaks and Twin Oaks Middle Schools.
