Lakers Preschool Child Care and the Laker 3s Program are branches of Kids’ Company, offering care for our youngest learners.
Kids’ Company offers quality child care options before and after school, full-day programming on most non-school days, and extended care on early release afternoons. Kids’ Company is located in all elementary buildings, serving K-5 students.
Summer Swim will be held at Twin Oaks Middle School between June and August. Registration will open online on March 1.

Instructor Doug Ohman is a popular speaker, historian, author and entertaining storyteller. He is also an expert photographer with deep Minnesota roots.
Elementary Choir (Gr. 4-5) will be held before school on designated days at each Elementary School.
Beginner Band Lessons are recommended for those students entering 6th grade.
Private Band Lessons are recommended for those students with previous band experience entering grades 7-12.

Scott County has the second highest Cambodian refugee diaspora in the state of Minnesota. It is also one of the top 5 most spoken languages in the Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools. This class is open for all youth in kindergarten through 12th grade. Students in the class will learn the Khmer writing system, basic vocabulary, and traditional folk games and dances that can be replicated with friends at home.
Instructor Sambath (Sam) Ouk and his family survived the Cambodian Killing Fields and immigrated to the United States in 1982. Sam grew up in Rochester, MN where he experienced the struggles of navigating a new culture while not knowing English first hand. With the help of caring teachers, he would go on to overcome these barriers. Sam went on to graduate from Hamline with a French Major and an Education Minor. He continued on with his education to achieve his Masters in ESL from Hamline and his Principal's License from St. Mary's University. Sam is a leader in refugee education and has written award winning research on the topic of positive acculturation for refugees.
