Lakers Preschool Child Care and the Laker 3s Program are branches of Kids’ Company, offering care for our youngest learners.
Kids’ Company offers quality child care options before and after school, full-day programming on most non-school days, and extended care on early release afternoons. Kids’ Company is located in all elementary buildings, serving K-5 students.
Summer Swim will be held at Twin Oaks Middle School between June and August. Registration will open online on March 1.

Instructor Doug Ohman is a popular speaker, historian, author and entertaining storyteller. He is also an expert photographer with deep Minnesota roots.
Elementary Choir (Gr. 4-5) will be held before school on designated days at each Elementary School.
Beginner Band Lessons are recommended for those students entering 6th grade.
Private Band Lessons are recommended for those students with previous band experience entering grades 7-12.

Learn to paint a beautiful scene in watercolors. Follow step-by-step instructions and engage in discussion on the difference between dry brush work, wet on wet, and wet on dry as you participate in this enjoyable workshop. This is a great, no fear, way to learn to paint in watercolors. Different/unique painting each session.
Supply list: Paint and Brushes • Artist’s Loft TM Fundamentals TM Watercolor Pan Set • Watercolor Paper such as Canson 9 x 12 pad • Watercolor Brushes such as Royal & Langnickel acrylic handle round number 10 brush • Recommended - 1 inch flat soft bristle flat brush Supplies Needed: • Pencil • Cup or jar for water • Paper towels • A board to tape paper flat • Masking Tape • Hair dryer to speed drying time
Instructor Vanessa Merry moved to Florence, Italy at the age of eighteen to study the methods of the great masters in painting, drawing, and printmaking at Palazzo Spinelli. From here she continued her education and exploration of the human-figure, still-lifes, and landscapes at Atelier de Chimere in France were she enjoyed Plein-Aire painting in the French countryside.She moved back to the United States were she attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota in Visual Arts and Art History.
She has been actively involved in the Twin Cities art scene for many years. Vanessa Merry has won several awards for her paintings in local galleries. She was the President of the Robbin Gallery in Robbinsdale, Minnesota and is currently on the staff of WARM (Women's Art Resources of MN).
Vanessa currently enjoys creating works of art in many different styles, but finds herself happiest when she is in the classroom teaching others all the skills that she has aquired in her studies.
