    This driver improvement course is taught by MN Hwy Safety Center trained instructors. The class will explore changes in laws, the latest vehicle technology, and provide you with easy-to-use defensive driving tips. In addition, we will explore traffic safety and accident prevention.     Come create a unique 10 x 10 canvas piece using collage techniques. You will learn how to design patterns that work while creating depth and a focal area with color by using mediums that protect and adhere papers and finishing supplies to enhance your work. The instructor will demonstrate the techniques to make the process easy. You will also learn many ways to continue using your newly learned skills. Please bring the following if you have any: collage papers like Gelli Prints, magazine pages, sayings and words you like. Supply fee ($8) included in tuition. Please bring a lunch and beverage.

    Gel printing is the newest trend! The ready-made silicone plates make it incredibly easy to create mono prints with paint, water soluble ink, stencils, stamps and more. A little practice is all it takes to become a pro at printing with the colors of your choice. Completed prints will be collaged onto 12x12 canvas. You will enjoy taking home your completed piece of unique art that won't need to be framed. Dar's teaching style is spontaneous and easy going. So come and have a great time! No experience necessary. Please bring to class an apron, paper towels and a purse size Purell hand cleaner. Supply fee ($11) included in tuition.

You will love the simple process of mono printing, using stamps, and stencils and creating your own designs with Gelli Print plates on a 12x12 canvas. Dar’s teaching style will inspire your creativity as she gives entertaining demos and individual attention. No experience necessary. Please bring to class: an apron, paper towels, a purse size hand cleaner, a soft rubber brayer if you have one, words or sayings you like, your lunch and beverage.     How to Get Higher Grades While Studying Less Than Most Other People (It's recommended, but not required, that students ages 12-26 and their parents attend this session together.) There's not a student alive who wouldn't love to get higher grades than anyone else while studying LESS than most other people. In this class, students age 12-26 and their parents will learn the advanced studying, test-taking, and paper-writing strategies that top students use to succeed at the most prestigious colleges in the country while still having plenty of time left over for leadership, interning and having more fun that they ever thought possible. Students will leave at the end of this class armed with a systematic review method developed at Carnegie Mellon University that can completely eliminate the need to ever cram for exams. Are you a student age 12-26? This class will help you to maximize your potential in high school and in college, give you more time to relax, and help you to become a top contender both for scholarships and for career or grad school success after college. Who should attend this class?This class is ideal for current middle and high school students, current college and graduate students and teens who will be starting dual enrollment college courses this coming fall.
