Join a PLHS production of Alice in Wonderland! A life that seems mundane suddenly transforms to a land of whimsy filled with mythical creatures and improbable characters when a little girl tests her limits through a world of pretending. Alice in wonderland has been seen as Alice's journey through childhood and into adulthood. An important lesson Alice learns along the way is to keep a firm hold on one's identity. There are many challenges in growing up, many of those aimed at influencing a child to become something specific. Metaphors abound in this fanciful script that allows young children to lose themselves in imagination and adults to be captivated by the secret meanings behind the various metaphoric scenes in the script. Lewis Carroll’s story lends itself easily to play format and is a perfect show to foreshadow Prior Lake High School’s 2019-2020 theatre season which is based on the theme of identity.Auditions will be held from 12:00-6:00 PM at PLHS. Registrations begins after the roles have been cast. Registration is required by July 30th. Want more info?
