MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICAL- Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR - Please register online between 10/16/19 and 10/31/19.The mission of middle school drama club is to introduce as many students as possible to theater. This includes the understanding of the process of a production and the realization that EVERY part, no matter how big or small, is essential to putting on the best performance possible!TECH CREW REGISTRATION AND FEESIf working on Tech Crew (non performing role), the registration fee is $65.00 which includes set supplies, royalty fees, advisor fees, and a t-shirt for each student. Please register online between 10/16/19 and 10/31/19.We support all students at the Prior Lake Savage Middle Schools. No student will be prevented from participating because of financial needs. Scholarships are available so please contact Community Education if you are in need of assistance.PRODUCTION:Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplies by MTI. www.MTIShows.com.TECH ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:There are many opportunities as part of the tech crew,: props and painting, set building and painting, lights, sound, make up, assist with costumes, etc., however, not every tech crew member will be needed backstage during the show. Those that are not on running crew during the actual show will be assisting actors and directors with make-up, costumes, and ushering. It really does take us all to make the show run smoothly! Once you have registered online you will be given a link to a google document to list your top three preferences for tech crew.TIME COMMITMENTWe are dedicated to providing a quality education and artistic experience to as many students as possible. Since we all have many time obligations and family commitments we are striving to give you detailed information on tech crew dates so you can make informed choices for you students and your family. We will do our best to honor the schedule we present by making as few or no changes to the schedule and by always starting and stopping on time.IMPORTANT DATESTech Crew schedule will vary, and registered students will be provided with more information at rehearsals and through Schoology. Tech crews meet most Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:15-4:30.A student/parent information meeting will be held at 7:00pm, October 24, 2019 TOMS auditorium. A link to a google drive will be provided for students to choose which parts of technical theater (ie. props, construction, paint, etc) they are most interested and the calendar will be developed. Students who are flexible in their task assignments and wish to be more involved will be invited to participate in other ways, in addition to their primary assignment area. (For example, if you want to work on props and set building-No problem! We are happy to have you!) Auditions are not required for Tech Crew. Registration for Tech Crew is limited.You MUST be present for the following days:February 3, 4, 5, 6 (2:20-4:30)February 10-12 (2:20-5:00)February 13 (7:00pm Performance)Friday, February 14 (4:00 pm and 7:00 pm Performances)Saturday, February 15 (1:00 pm Performance +Set Strike)Instructors: Mrs. St. Mane, and Mr. TumaYou must be registered and paid between October 16th and October 28th.After completing this registration, check your email for a confirmation and a link to the MS Tech Crew Application. Please complete this google form as soon as possible, to ensure that your student receives a tech assignment. Schedules will be given to students based on Tech Assignments.

Welcome to Kids’ Company. Kids’ Company offers care at each elementary school before and after school and on most non-school days during the school year. We also offer summer programming at several elementary schools.
The Wave is a summer and an after-school program for students in sixth through eighth grade at Hidden Oaks and Twin Oaks Middle Schools.
